The broadcast was about to start. The clock ticked down until the screen flashed with the live broadcast. Finally -- we were in.
I enlarged the screen to fit my monitor and made sure the quality was great. The next thing I knew, we were running.
The subject was a young lady, probably in her early 30's. She seemed well put together and spent time getting prepped for the show.
"Hello everybody!" She said. "Today is a short broadcast as I have some sad news -- due to personal conflicts and issues, I must close the show and my channel."
"What? How can that be?" I thought. Didn't this girl talk about how successful things are? What could be wrong? The thought of losing my favorite broadcast threw me for a loop. What was I going to do?
About five minutes later, my wife stepped into the room.
"What did you think?" She said.
"Honey, I have no idea what's wrong -- why are you cancelling your show?"
"You know that show was only a trick to try and meet someone...that 'special' someone." She described.
I began to sink into my chair with a gut-wrenching feeling creeping inside my stomach. Was she serious? Before I could gather my thoughts, a large man entered the room. He looked at me, looked at my wife, and then back at me.
"You're right!" he said, "He's just what I'm looking for."
