Hey guys, @CrazyPhantomBR participating in the Weekly Challenge, this is the best #play2earn game out there!! #Splinterlands!!
We are all #hive and #hivebr!
This post has been formatted for best viewing in the Ecency Dark Mode frontend! It's a submission to the Weekly Challenge Splinterlands!
Those who follow my posts know that I really like the weekly challenges and I keep switching between card reviews and complete compositions! Now with the battle challenge change, I've verified that it's still explicitly valid to share battles within the weekly media challenge. I think it's very productive, and serves the purpose of getting the game into the trending topics.
The first point to be analyzed is the basic strategy for Splinterlands lovers, and consists of checking the opponent's history of previous battles.
In this case my opponent came from battles with splinter Earth, with Obsidian level 6 and also with Kelya Frendul level 6.
Summoner Quix level 2, which could be considered suitable for Gold 3, which is where I am after the season reset.
So from this information we can predict that the opponent will come strong, regardless of which splinter he chooses.
Summoner Level is not a nod to victory, and even though I don't have any level 6 summoners available, I'm going to try to be a thorn in my opponent's side.
The second point whose analysis must be done is regarding RuleSet. This will vary from game to game and there is no easy recipe, you'll just learn by doing.
Water and Earth. The two elements that the opponent has shown to have a level 6 summoner. The match will be tense. The Target Practice rule is not a problem as I imagine most opponent monsters will be magical. My chance will be to use my secret weapon.
Ruleset analysis is compounded in part by the availability of invokers. What the opponent will use, and what I have available. Since I only play in Modern mode, keep in mind that some summoners and cards are not available.
My main invokers are:
Kelya Frendul level 5, my own.
My main investment in the game so far.
Thaddius Brood level 5, located.
My favorite, because this element is what I've dedicated the most to since launch. But I still couldn't get him to the proper level.
General Sloam level 4, located.
The Life splinter was never my favorite, so.. I just have to have it.
Obsidian level 3, located.
It's been enough to sustain the Earth element battles, considering that it's not my goal to acquire cards from this element at the moment.
Bortus level 3, located.
A differential to be able to exploit careless opponents who insist on using Kelya in situations that exploit magic.
Possibilus the Wise level 2, located.
First season that I exchange my Brighton Bloom location for another summoner. I've been enjoying the possibilities of using this card!
Eternan Brune level 3, my own.
Thanks to my luck in seasonal chests.
Pembrook Nymph GF level 3, my own.
Thanks so much Splinterlands! I loved this summoner!
The splinters restriction leaves me with no choice, being called the Possibilus the Wise.
The fourth point I recommend looking at is exploring your game strategies. Do you have any?
I have several strategies, and I even made a post with all of them. But now I'm trying out our combinations, and today I have the opportunity to take my Trample combo to the extreme.
The Trample ability consists of allowing a second attack if the target monster is defeated. A monster that has this ability at an early level is DiemonShark, which I will use in battle.
Another interesting card is the magnificent Coastal Sentry, which has a balance between attack, speed and life points, which is boosted by its ability Double Strike.
The interesting thing here is the effect Trample and Reach that will be distributed by the summoner, affecting monsters that do not have this ability. Thus, we will have two cards with Trample ability attacking. And also two attacks with Double Strike. That's why I named this game Double Double!
But don't be fooled! This is the All or Nothing! strategy Facing a match considering that a specific skill will make you victorious is indeed a gamble!
Due to the Ruleset forcing Earth or Water, I'm expecting a magical opponent, with summoner level 6.
I start the lineup with Diemonshark, followed by Coastal Sentry. That's the plan: kill everyone at the base of the fight, performing multiple attacks due to the Coastal Sentry double attack and the possibility of extra attack with each elimination.
If you notice, the Coastal Sentry's four hit points are usually enough to clear shields, and deal the first hit point damage. In a second round, the tendency is for it to cause the first elimination.
With the little mana left, in third place comes the Torrent Fiend with zero cost. Finally I fear Ice Pixie located, to perform that unexpected magic attack.
I went into battle hoping to cause difficulties for the opponent...
Opponent chose summoner Kelia Frendul level 6.
On the front line Baakjira with his speed debuff and life buff. Then the Deeplurker card at level 7, as it activated the poison skill. Disappointing in third place Djinn Oshannus who was at level 1, and finishing with Igor Darkspear level 3.
The opponent climbed very well and I had my strategy only partially shaken, as only one magic monster entered the opponent's field.
This match took place in the Prata 1 league, and can be watched through the link:
The image above shows the opening of Round 1, after the buffs of the summoners. I have a more balanced team, the opponent has a team prepared to withstand magic damage, so in theory it is more fragile.
Still in the first round we see the Ground lose an attack, my tank eliminated, and the enemy rear as well. My Katrelba makes the elimination and gets her first stat upgrade.
In the second round Coastal Sentry eliminates Baakjira and will be entitled to an extra attack due to the trample. With this attack she eliminates *Torrent Fiend's shield.
Coastal Sentry now makes its second attack, and eliminates the opposing Torrent Fiend, taking a second extra attack.
In this round alone, Coastal Sentry made 4 attacks, all of them accurate (no evasion).
Thanks to the double attack, my Coastal Sentry lands the final blow on Djinn Oshanus and dooms the opponent to defeat.
The opponent made no visible mistakes, and the true cause of his defeat was our strategic difference.
On my team, the amount of extra attacks achieved by Coastal Sentry proved to be the differential in the match, validating the strategy used.
A mistake that I could have corrected would be to adopt the card Lemell Refugee in the first position and thus have a little more peace of mind with the magic attacks received.

Thank you all so much and see you next time!!!
[.
