As incredible as it may seem, I'm here again, which is very unusual, I know. But the topic seemed valid to me and I decided to risk talking about a subject that is very dear to me, which is the teaching profession.
My family ancestry has a wide connection in this professional field, with teachers from various levels of education and the most diverse specialties, which allows me to say that I was raised in a certain way within the academic world, even if it is at the most shallow levels / lows of academic performance, which is the classroom floor (paraphrasing the expression "factory floor).
Not for lack of options, but also in a certain way due to the determinations of my surroundings, I also chose the teaching career as my training, and despite not working in the classroom, I remain closely connected and attentive to related events.
This afternoon I was surprised while driving to work with news on the radio: a selection process for teachers was underway. The news would have gone unnoticed, if it weren't for us being at the end of the school term, an inappropriate time for this type of action.
A little more attention and the radio would reveal to me that in my city some classes are being dismissed due to a lack of education professionals, hence the need to carry out a new selection of teachers on an urgent basis.
The affected courses are from the so-called New Secondary Education, which in Brazil is equivalent to "High School", however with the new subjects aimed at the student's professional preparation, we can perhaps assume that it is equivalent to "Associate Degree". A light graduation? Well, I believe that a student trained in this modality would be something inferior to an engineer, for reference purposes.
There are no professionals available to teach these students in the specific subjects that should bring them a perspective on the profession. These professionals should be engineers themselves, since there is no such thing as an "engineer teacher", that is, either he is a teacher of a classical subject, or he is an engineer (and by definition does not know how to be a teacher).
One way or another, what is urgent to analyze: the school year is coming to an end here, and students are not receiving the necessary training due to a lack of teachers.
Next year, the workload for "new" subjects will be increased, so we can expect the system to collapse. This is all the result of decisions taken in offices by people who do not know the reality of the country.
The teaching profession is undervalued.
It is insulting for an engineer to be asked to teach while being paid a professor's salary.
Those who will pay the price will be the students who will have their education incomplete due to the lack of government structure and planning.

Por incrível que pareça estou aqui novamente marcando presença, o que é muito incomum, eu sei. Mas o tópico me pareceu válido e eu resolvi arriscar falar sobre um assunto que para mim é muito querido, que é a profissão professor.
Minha ascendência familiar tem ampla ligação neste ramo profissional, sendo que são encontrados professores de vários níveis de ensino e das mais diversas especialidades, o que me permite dizer que fui criado de certa forma inserido no meio acadêmico, ainda que seja nos níveis mais rasos / baixos de atuação acadêmica, que é o chão de sala (parafraseando a expressão "chão de fábrica).
Não por falta de opções, mas também de certa forma por determinações do meu entorno, escolhi também a carreira docente como formação, e apesar de não estar atuando em sala de aula continuo intimamente ligado e atendo aos acontecimentos relacionados.
Na tarde de hoje fui surpreendido enquanto dirigia em direção ao trabalho com uma notícia na rádio: esta em andamento um processo de seleção para professores. A notícia passaria batido, não fosse por estarmos no final do período letivo, um momento impróprio para este tipo de ação.
Um pouco mais de atenção e o rádio me revelaria que na minha cidade algumas aulas estão sendo dispensadas por falta de profissionais da educação, daí a necessidade de fazer uma nova seleção de professores em regime de urgência.
Os cursos afetados são do chamado Novo Ensino Médio, que no Brasil é equivalente ao "High School", porém com as novas disciplinas voltadas à preparação profissional do estudante, podemos talvez supor que seja equivalente ao "Associate Degree". Uma graduação leve? Bom, acredito que o aluno formado nesta modalidade seria algo inferior à um engenheiro, para fins de referência.
Não existem profissionais disponíveis para ensinar esses alunos nas disciplinas específicas que deveriam trazer um olhar voltado à profissão para eles. Estes profissionais deveriam ser os próprios engenheiros, uma vez que não existe um "professor engenheiro", ou seja, ou é professor de uma disciplina clássica, ou é um engenheiro (e por definição não sabe ser professor).
De um jeito ou de outro, o que é urgente se analisar: o ano letivo está acabando por aqui, e os alunos não estão recebendo a formação necessária por falta de professores.
No próximo ano, a carga horária relativa às disciplinas "novas" será ampliada, então podemos esperar que o sistema entre em colapso. Isso tudo fruto de decisões tomadas em gabinetes por pessoas que não conhecem a realidade do país.
A profissão professor é desvalorizada.
É insultante a um engenheiro ser convidado à ensinar sendo pago com um salário de professor.
Quem pagará o preço será o aluno que terá sua formação incompleta devido à falta de estrutura e planejamento governamental.
