Hey everyone, who would have thought that gardening could be exciting? I have been growing these for months now around 9 months, they started fruiting around 6 weeks ago and for some reason have really taken a while to mature and turn ripe....

And then it happened? What was so surprising to me was this, I purchased me seeds on www.livingseeds.co.za and were labelled RED Carolina Reapers, however when they started maturing and ripening around a week ago how exciting to see orange Reapers?? WOW do these even exist? Yes they sure do and they are amazing!

One concern I do have is I tasted one of the green ones a week ago, granted it was smaller and not yet ripe but zero flavour, not hot at all!

I contacted my Supplier and asked him what was going on, he told me it could be 1 of two things, I may have a rare tasteless reaper with no heat (I HOPE NOT) or it may develope severe heat as it ripens, I am hoping for the latter!

Doctor Green Finger Strikes again. Here I took a pic from around 40cms back to give a general overview of how many fruit I am able to grow on one plant as well as the ripening Reapers in the backdrop and the greener fruit in the foreground, my how passionate am I about chilli's, loving it!
