I became a Bee-Keeper, it all started with Photographing Bees!!
Hey everyone, with pics like this the next step really can only to become a bee-keeper right? And that is just what I did. I have always had a fascination with Bees, my mother has been a Bee-keeper for years so on this journey she is helping and guiding me with me bee-keeping adventures.
I am still very new to bee-keeping and this is where it all started. Taking some magnificent pictures of these incredible little creatures, what is not to love?
Bees just love Aloes these were taking pretty much in the middle of winter which is fantastic for bees as food supply is normally very scarce. Aloes are winter flowering plants and I just find it fascinating to see how nature makes a plan and looks after its own in turn, looking after us, 'small things' no-one even realizes??
Do you know that scientists predict that if all the bees on Earth were to die Humans would have 4 years too and we would be done? We need to Protect and Preserve these incredible creatures and that is my goal and ambition online to spread the word and get more folks passionate about bees and their VITAL Survival Importance!
Here I got really lucky again capturing these two shots of these guys or ladies rather (worker bees are all ladies) mid-flight and hard at work.
Here I am with my HD helmet cam on. I take many pics with this camera integrated into the helmet. The pics in this blog however were taken with my Samsung Cellphone, not too shabby eh?
