Hey everyone, so what are your thoughts on these incredible 'Frankenstein' like monstrosities?
After a sneaky peak or two Carrots? They sure are!! Multicoloured, heirloom and gorgeous. Having a massive organic heirloom vegetable garden really is just such a special rewarding thing.
Tonights harvest will be going into a delicious beef stew and a nice salad! In the colander we have carrots as well as onion and garlic leaves. Taste the same as actual garlic and onion and can be used in the same way, lovely!
Nope this is not a beetroot albeit looking very similar. Delicious purple carrot too and it really does taste exactly the same, it is a carrot after all ;)
I purchased all of these on www.livingseeds.co.za and have recently begun to harvest. Too delicious for words.
