Shortly after the unexpected news that the largest exchange will add support to Bitcoin Cash, Coinbase representatives said that they would discontinue trading their newest asset.

The message in the official blog of crypto-birgis for users about the disabling of the BCH trade was received a few months after the developers of fork bitoin made all their efforts to create an effective competitor of the original bitcoin chain.

Used to create a Bitcoin Cash mechanism called hardcore, the project created unique problems for exchanges, because, at the time of chain separation, all users who had bitcoins automatically received an equal number of Bitcoin Cash coins.

Thus, the sudden influx of users with capital in the capital, apparently, increased the burden on the stock exchange from the United States, which has a large volume of trade.

According to CoinMarketCap, at the time of writing the article, the purchase and sale of Bitcoin Cash are off on the platform, and the last quoted price was almost $ 9'000 US dollars, which is 6 thousand dollars higher than the market price of $ 2'900.

According to the official exchange status blog, the trade was turned off about four minutes after its start. Trading began at 17:20 PST and was stopped at 17:24.

At 18:30 PST in the official tweet channel of the crypto-exchange, a message appeared:
All BCH transactions will be canceled and all existing orders will be deleted. In the cancellation mode only new orders will be accepted. We will soon publish an update.
The denial of service does not seem to have affected either the other assets of the exchange or the brokerage services of Coinbase. The exchange still allows users to buy and sell bitcoin, ether and litecoin.
