Could someone help me understand the problems with bitcoin? Yes, it is a weird question when the whole world is on a craze about it, but lets think about this for a second here because it feels like that red-headed step child that the family pushes into the corner so the neighbors only see how perfect the rest of the family is. We have a currency that can become THE universal currency for the entire world, no more Dollar/Euro/Pound etc. No more hard cash to steal or lose.
We have a currency that could cripple the worlds financial infrastructure in a positive way. Imagine traveling anywhere you want and not having to worry about loosing money, or exchange rates, or being ripped off because you are a foreigner. There is nothing worse than going to a country and not knowing the value of something, whereas if we all used bitcoin then an apple here would roughly be the same price as an apple there.
