About a week ago I've finally moved my tomato and pepper seedlings in the greenhouse. And... they're dead. The peppers seemed to have bounced back but 75% of my toms are gone.
I've hardened them up for a few days before moving them in the greenhouse and I thought the weather would stay the same, 6-8 degrees during the night and cloudy days ... the first day after moving them in, there was no cloud in sight and the temp inside the greenhouse hit 45 C. Yeah...go figure. They looked a bit weak after that but I thought they'd recover.
2 days later and we hit 2C during the night and ... they didn't like that at all.
A few more weird days and most of them were dead.
The ones that lived are looking pretty bad, not sure if they're gonna pull through.
On the other hand the lettuce is doing pretty well; had my 3rd harvest earlier.
Pffft... guess I'm gonna go by the garden centre in the next few days and see what tomato seedlings they have...
Oh well... Cheers!
