These redcurrants are glorious! Next year I'm going to have to support the plant somehow as it's too fruit heavy and some of the branches look like they might be close to breaking.

And now for the weirdness. Tom Yum soup beer? I mean... I brewed a roasted tomato beer once, but this seems a bit far out.
It's another interesting concoction by one of the most interesting breweries in the UK, The WildBeer Co.
Properly murky, amber, no head at all. You can smell funkiness straight away; lots of funk in this one.
There's some spice, lemony sourness and salty umami. This isn't a fresh tasting beer, it reminds me most of half fermented wine; but it isn't a bad drink. I don't think I would drink more than a pint in a session but it's interesting enough to have it again at some point.
