So this was supposed to be my mint battle royale zone. I've planted 4 different varieties and was looking forward to see which one will take the crown. At the same time I've planted lemon balm and marjoram(oregano); they took over and are doing incredibly well. Mint on the other hand ... not so much. There are 3 or 4 sprigs that showed up(they can't even be seen in the pic) but they're barely making a difference; they might fill up late or in the season...
The currants are attracting a lot of birds, not sure why as they're still just flowering, no fruit has set.
The apple tree seemed to look really good...
That was until I got closer and I could see 3 of these leaf clusters. There's some powdery mildew lookalike thing taking hold. Will have to keep a close eye on it and see if it's going to spread - I've removed all those clusters but I doubt that will mean much if it actually is powdery mildew.
And that's about it; going to end on a pic of the new avocado tree - had it for about a year; finally woke up as well and growing some leaves.
Cheers!
