your right about having solar installed being a scam to keep people on the grid though! 100% really everyone should have it connected to a large enough battery set up to keep enough to last the non peak

I managed to go off grid with scraps from skips and just 2 solar panels and a battery and inverter and controller... ye its minimilistic but was enough for me to keep the lights on my audio equipment and
