I managed to go off grid with scraps from skips and just 2 solar panels and a battery and inverter and controller... ye its minimilistic but was enough for me to keep the lights on my audio equipment and charge my power tools/torches/device..... maybe more people would use there own sources of energy if only they knew how..... shame theres not much on this subject anywhere.....
