Hi Friends!

Some of you may have seen the survey I sent out last week asking for feedback on my content topics. I decided to randomly put “interviews” as a topic, even though I have never really done them before. The feedback on that was resounding! So here I am, dipping my toe in the water and putting on my interviewer hat.

Today, I am chatting with Sida (@crypto.talk), the Founder of Partiko. A new app for Steemit that aims to give a beautiful, intuitive user experience. Sida is a developer for Airbnb and when he first joined the platform – saw the need for an app of this sort. In this interview, we discuss the following topics.

How did you find out about Steemit and what attracted you to the platform?

What made you decide to start building an app for Steemit users?

Tell us a bit about your team and your experience with building apps.

What does Partiko mean and why did you choose that name?

Let’s talk about the app! We do an on-screen walk through and I share what my experience has been – what I like/don’t like. (I have been testing the iOS version for a few months)

How are you handling security for the app?

Do you take a cut of the rewards for those posting on the app?

Partiko is currently running a crowdfunding campaign through @hyperfundit. We discussed why they decided to partner with Hyperfundit and how people can get involved.

What are the next steps for Partiko? Tell us a bit more about your roadmap.

The app is currently available for Android in the Google Play Store, and is available for testing in iOS. How can people become testers?
