So far, most social media is 'visually' driven. A concept is not visual.
Don't read too much into it. I believe you are looking to derive a deep meaning from a shallow environment.
Food and people attract eyes. Concepts don't. It may not be right... but it's the way people work.
If asked what is more important, even the ones that voted visually would say the homeless.
