Which Coffee Maker Is Doing Its Best Not To Kill You ?
I recently found out some information regarding the two coffee shops I visit on a daily basis. Yes I drink a lot of coffee and apparently only one of them is making an effort not to kill me. Information is derived from actual employees. This made me very very angry.

I start my day everyday with a cup of coffee, most Americans do. Some go to dunking donuts, highly favorable because they use a Styrofoam cup and some go to Starbucks because it is trendy. Well I recently learned a few interesting facts while talking to my local barrista. I sometimes go to 7-11 for a quick cup and while I was there I noticed that the worker was taking the water from the sink and filling the coffee machine with it. Naturally I started thinking..... that is dirty water, then spilled my coffee out and left. This started my new research project, I called it the coffee competition in my notes. The next morning I asked my friend who works at Dunkin Donutz where they get the water for their coffee. He said that they have a line connected directly to the coffee machine. No filter ? I asked. He said maybe a little one in the line itself. Wow really not even the most minimal filtration unit like a Brita perhaps, I was shocked. I cannot believe I have been drinking killer coffee for years. Years people I am so angry. Later that day I called over my friend who runs a Starbucks and he told me that they use a Reverse Osmosis machine and change the filter monthly, I said show me and so he did. Wow again, I was so impressed and now understand why their coffee is so dam expensive. Those are very pricey filters. Personally I never liked the taste of Starbucks but knowing that it's made with not just filtered water but Fluoride Free water totally turns me on. So now it seems I buy my coffee religiously from Starbucks daily even though it costs a fortune. I always thought it was a trendy thing and the coffee tasted burnt to me but apparently they do offer the best around. Thank You and I wish you would have told me years ago, who knows how many future issues I would have avoided. Dunkin Donut should be changed to Dunkin Do-Not. I make my coffee home many times now just because the price is costly but when I am lazy or haven't made any clean water yet then I will go buy it.
