Today I walk the same streets yesterday,
They seem unknown to me.
Without souls, alone.
Only the echo of yesterday's laughter is heard
of boys who emigrated or are buried.
Even the stray dogs disappeared.
And the few that remain learn not to bark
for fear of being devoured by a hungry population.
They are desolate streets,
full of tears, blood and sorrow.
They are streets of war of a government.
with its population.
There is fear in hearts.
The people who leave your house are brave.
If they are not harassed by the government,
they are harassed by crime with a license to kill.
Children cry with hunger,
Milk is a luxury that alone.
the elite of the regime can buy it.
A single kilogram costs three months of salary.
Parents who have chosen to send their children to the streets to cry for food
And like the lions, the little food they get
they are the ones who eat first.
A country at undeclared war,
A government that does not allow
the entry of humanitarian aid.
It does not care about its population.
Only be in power.
