Mega man x4, is the fourth game in the series of mega man X released on August 1, 1997, developed by capcom.
History
The story begins, when the general of the repliforce makes a statement where he announces calls them maverick for the humans making the general decide to make a nation only for reploids to be free to fight for their own rights and survival making them want to create a utopia for the reploids and together with the, colonel who shares the same wishes as the general. some time later, the air city of skylagon is attacked and destroyed, by the maverick it is here where our protagonist enters in action and seeing that the repliforce was present, the maverick hunters begin to suspect that the repliforce was the cause of the attack and ask the colonel to lower his weapons and accompany them but the colonel refuses to obey their orders and at this point the indignant general starts a coup state causing a war between the maverick hunter and the repliforce without realizing that a strange dark figure was pulling the strings from the shadows to bring about this moment.
Character
Unlike previous mega man games in this fourth part of the saga X we can choose with which character to play first we will have our beloved blue bomberman "X" and then we will have Zero the story will be different but with the same objective that is to stop the repliforce depending on the character we choose in the case of choosing X will have the help of the rookie of double while with zero we will have the help of iris.
Gameplay
One of the first things that is visualized is the graphic improvement that has mega man x4 the gameplay follows the same line as the previous mega man games where fight against the maverick but with the difference that zero is a playable character and unlike megaman x3 that its use was limited in this delivery we can play it from start to finish.
The style of game of both is very different doing that mega man has a new experience with X we will have the classic x-buster and every time that defeats a maverick. X will be able to copy some special skill that it uses in combat. while with zero it uses the Z-saber and it is here where the difference is presented since with X that is a character that attacks at a distance of zero is a character that fights at short range Zero can copy techniques from the defeating maverick to facilitate short range fighting.
Also in this delivery is the first time that there are multiple armors for, X in addition to one for zero. like the previous games X you must look for the pieces of the full armor each piece of the armor gives additional skills to X the arm piece gives us to choose the stock charge and the plasma charge, while the zero armor doesn't give you any kind of advantage just makes you see more badass.
The soundtrack of mega man never disappoints in this fourth chapter of the saga gives us one of the best opening and endindg that has the saga of x composed by yukie nakama in addition to the music that accompanies us while we fight against the maverick will undoubtedly be an experience that you will enjoy from start to finish, composed by Toshihiko Horiyama.

Personajes
a diferencia de las entregas anteriores de mega man en esta cuarta parte de la saga X podremos elegir con que personaje jugar primero tendremos a nuestro querido bomberman azul "X" y luego tendremos a Zero la historia sera diferente pero con el mismo objetivo que es detener a la repliforce dependiendo del personaje que escojamos en el caso de escoger a X tendrá la ayuda del novato de double mientras que con zero tendremos la ayuda de iris.
jugabilidad
una de las primeras cosas que se nota es el grafico mejorado que tiene mega man x4 la jugabilidad sigue la misma linea que las anteriores entregas de mega man donde se debe combatir contra los maverick pero con la diferencia de que zero es un personaje jugable y a diferencia de megaman x3 que su uso era limitado en esta entrega lo podremos jugar de principio a fin.
el estilo de juego de ambos es muy diferente haciendo que mega man tenga una experiencia nueva con X tendremos el clasico x-buster y cada vez que derrote a un maverick. X podrá copiar alguna habilidad especial que este utilice en combate. mientras que con zero utiliza el Z-saber y es aquí donde se presenta la diferencia ya que con X que es un personaje que ataca a distancia zero es un personaje que combate a corto alcance zero puede copiar técnicas de los maverick que derrota para facilitar las peleas a corto alcance.
Ademas en esta entrega es la primera vez que existe múltiples armaduras para, X ademas de una para zero. al igual que las entregas anteriores X deberá buscar las piezas de la full armor cada pieza de la armadura le da habilidades adicionales a X y la pieza de los brazos nos da para elegir el stock charge y el plasma charge, mientras que la armadura de zero no le da ninguna tipo de ventaja solo lo hace ver mas badass.
La banda sonora de mega man nunca defrauda en esta cuarto capitulo de la saga nos entrega uno de los mejores opening y endindg que tiene la saga de x compuesta por yukie nakama ademas de la música que nos acompaña mientras combatimos contra los maverick sin duda alguna sera una experiencia que disfrutaras de principio a fin, compuesta por Toshihiko Horiyama.
Dato Adicional
Como ultimo punto en esta saga es la primera vez en que mega man incorpora algunos codigos para desbloquear armaduras como seria la ultimate armor de X y la black armor de zero.
