I had heard Tito Puente's version of Take Five, and I was absolutely entralled with it.
I was also a little worried about introducing jazz in a pop show.
The joke about Lucas not liking jazz is a lie, he loves jazz : )
I really liked this version, and it allowed people to dance a bit.
Take Five is in 5/4 time, but Tito Puente's version is solidly in 4, allowing people to dance salsa freely.
