Fast traveling near the Isle of Ely, I joined Soma's clan to eliminate Wigmund. After scouting the heavily guarded monastery with Synin, I scaled the high tower and leaped into the courtyard. Fighting alongside Soma through waves of Saxon warriors, I breached the inner doors and finally spotted Wigmund.
I must have face off against Wigmund and free Grantebridgescire. And for that, I had to regroup with Soma's clan, who were waiting for me, close to the Isle of Ely. And the viewpoint I synchronized with earlier came really handy, as I could just fast travel there.
After checking around for a moment, as the night sky was looking beautiful, I jumped off that statue, and then I used this boat to get to the other side of the river, rowing silently across the calm, dark water.
Then I found Soma and her clan were waiting for me. And once I joined them for the fight, Soma mentioned, as I am still with her through all this, she won't forget, offering a firm nod of mutual respect before the battle commenced.
Now, we had to find and assassinate Wigmund, who has retreated to the Isle of Ely Monastery. And after getting close to the location, Soma mentioned she can smell Wigmund at the summit of the hill. So I called Synin to check around.
After having an idea about where Wigmund could be, I started climbing up the big walls. And then I used my eagle vision and noticed that big building was filled with Saxon warriors, which told me Wigmund could be hiding there.
I tried to open up a door to that building, but I couldn't do it alone, and Soma was not helping as well. So I started climbing up the big tower instead, searching for a high-altitude entry point.
After climbing up on top of the tower, I thought I'd found a viewpoint to synchronize with, which I didn't. I just jumped off the tower toward a haystack, trying a smooth leap of faith.
After jumping down, I noticed the whole place was filled with Saxon warriors. And after assassinating one of them, the others saw me, so I had to start fighting them, drawing my weapons as the entire yard erupted into chaos.
In the fight, I beheaded one of them, while the animation was really cool. And then both me and Soma fought a lot more Saxon warriors, while Soma's men were also fighting on the lower ground.
And at last, we found a door that I could open myself. And after getting inside, I was taking down a Saxon warrior. And when I was doing it, I noticed through the photo mode, there was Wigmund waiting to taste my hidden blade.
