@eddiespino I think I got it... the trick, I think, is to simply have a last minute check before inserting the job. Very for the existence of the owner and permlink, if the boolean is true, then return, do nothing.

A lot easier than the lock i was attempting to place.

lets see... if you read this, it means it worked... granted, no duplicate jobs were made.
