To purchase cards for Gods Unchained, follow these three simple steps:
-Download and install the MetaMask browser extension.
-Purchase ETH (Ethereum) and put it into your MetaMask account.
-On the Gods Unchained website, you may purchase card packs.
1.Install MetaMask first.
Gods Unchained is an Ethereum-based Trading Card Game (TCG) (ETH). You own the game cards as a digital asset, which you keep in your personal bitcoin wallet.
MetaMask is a web browser plugin that makes it easier to open and manage cryptocurrency wallets and transactions.
Go to https://metamask.io/, click on “Get Extension” and install the browser plugin. Once installed it should appear within your browser:
Follow these steps to get started with MetaMask:
Make a strong password (to access the plugin later on)
Confirm the image of your unique account.
Accept all of the conditions.
Make a backup phrase for yourself (and follow the instructions carefully).
2. Purchase and deposit Ethereum
The next step is to fund your new MetaMask wallet with Ethereum (crypto currency). To obtain Ethereum, you must first convert your local currency to ETH and then purchase crypto currency (ETH) using your local currency money.
Use Coinbase to accomplish this in a simple manner. Coinbase is a digital currency exchange that lets you convert your local currency into cryptocurrency.
Go to coinbase.com and sign up. Once you are signed up you have to transfer money from your bank account or buy crypto currency using a credit card.
On coinbase.com go to “Sell/Buy”, select “Ethereum” and the payment method of your choice (bank account or credit card).
Choose the amount of Ethereum (ETH) you wish to buy and buy it right away. Make sure you know how much ETH you'll need before you buy. Check the current pack rates at godsunchained.com, and buy as much ETH as you need based on how many packs you want to buy.
For example, if you want to buy six rare card packs (each costing 0.012 ETH), you'll need 0.072 ETH.
Because you'll have to pay fees on your route to getting your ETH to your MetaMask wallet, make sure you buy a little more than you'll need.
I would buy 0.075 ETH in the prior case.
After you've purchased ETH, you'll need to deposit it into your MetaMask wallet. Simply open the MetaMask browser plugin and click the account name at the top. It will transfer your wallet address to your clipboard automatically.
On coinbase.com go to “Accounts”, select your “ETH Wallet” and click “Send”.
Paste your MetaMask wallet address, select how much ETH you want to transfer and click “Continue”
It may take some time for your ETH to appear in your MetaMask wallet (the transaction has to be confirmed on the Ethereum Blockchain first).
However, once your deposited ETH appears in your MetaMask, you can continue purchasing Gods Unchained card packs.
3.Purchase Card Packs
You can go out and buy card packs now that you have some ETH in your MetaMask.
Go to godsunchained.com/buy-cards, select what kind of pack and how many you want and click “BUY”
A MetaMask box appears, displaying the transaction's information once more. Click "CONFIRM" after you've double-checked that the transaction's details are right.
Once you’ve confirmed the transaction, it can take up to multiple minutes until your transaction is confirmed on the Ethereum blockchain and packs are ready to be opened.
Go to godsunchained.com/temple and wait until packs become available. Once a pack appears on the left bottom corner of the screen, you can drag and drop it on the opener (in the middle of the screen).
