Resentment: A Strong Material For Heart Destruction - The Effect On Students And Teachers
Tobi was a young aged boy who detested being flogged. He hated it when someone used a flogging method instead of a talking method to correct him or someone close to him, especially on what he did not do being flogged. Tobi does want everyone to be treated equally and fairly instead of venting the whole of the anger you have had somehow on anyone.
It was his first day in high school as they have moved to a new location. The location they moved to happened to have just one high school which everyone had seen to be the best in that vicinity.
There was a teacher and a mathematics teacher to be precise who always loved being hard on students. Everyone has been running away from him. Anytime he is passing by, the students do give him a very long rope as this would be the best for them, or else, they would receive the flogging of their lives.
His first day was hectic and did not go so well for him. He was initially trying to mingle with his classmates as most of them are friendly. One of them, whose name was Ahmed, became friends with Tobi. He tried to tell him how the school is run. He told him the kinds of teachers they have and those who he should keep clear of as well as those he would make friends with. Ahmed was afraid of mentioning the mathematics teacher as he was not ready to be flogged.
In the class, while mathematics class was going on, the teacher told the class to be quiet and not make any form of noise. Tobi picked something out from the teacher's words I will flog the hell out of anyone who makes noise. Those in the class and everyone had to keep quiet. The class was just like a graveyard. Tobi, being the quiet type, was surprised to see a class so quiet as this.
After some time, Jonathan just coughs trying to laugh. It was just a normal thing to do just because of a word the teacher made. It's so funny and can make one burst into the realm of laughter. The mathematics teacher called on Jonathan and told him to kneel. He walloped with some number of strokes.
Tobi saw this and was angry. He was having second thoughts about either changing his school or hating the teacher. He told his dad when he got home. His dad had to call on the school authority to the matter and indeed it was not an easy one for the school and the students as well as the mathematics teacher.
Now, Tobi was not just having hatred for the mathematics teacher but also inculcated a deep grudge against him. He ceased to like mathematics just because of the teacher. Anytime he is in the class teaching, most of the students would be sleeping instead of falling into his trap. No one would concentrate while he was teaching and no one would ask questions as this was the nature he gave to the students.
Resentment now comes as
A strong feeling of buttered hatred you have for someone when he or she offends you. This kind of hatred may last forever and even to the extent of destroying what you have built. Everyone wants a good name and when you have good records, no one would resent you, but when your record is worse, everyone would want to resent you at all costs.
Tobi just came in as a new student and yet discovered some floor in the oath of the mathematics teacher. He developed a strong hatred for the teacher. An intended one for that matter.
I can draw out three things from this story related to resentment.
Lack of prior knowledge of the subject: Students cannot be able to master the subject to the fullest and would have problems knowing it
Fear: Fear is another bad thing Tobi would have while the teacher is teaching. He would not be able to grab whatever the teacher is teaching. This is just because the teacher is too tough on them.
Anxiety: Tobi was uneasy anytime the teacher was teaching. He was not able to grab the subject to his satisfaction and was not at rest while I'm the class. He had the spirit of nervousness within him and this could lead to something not called for.
Grudges: Tobi was having so much hatred for the teacher in question. He is not ready to accept a such teacher who always wallops them with a whip.
Frustration: This is another aspect that could make the students get tired of their teacher. They would get frustrated and would not be ready to learn the subject. Tobi, who was so happy being at the school for the first time and was a brilliant student in the aspect of mathematics, became scared of mathematics. He never loved mathematics just because of the nature of the teacher involved.
Resilience: Sometimes when something like this happens, one would feel tired to go to school. One would see the school as no school or not doing the right thing. Tobi saw the school as good but with the mindset he had with the teacher which happened to be correct, he developed a hatred for the teacher and also for the school. He was afraid of going to school.
This act may also affect the school negatively. This may happen in different ways which may be:
Disorganization: The school would be disorganized and everyone would be afraid of the school. Going to school would be a mess or a waste of time. The students will not be in order since a teacher is not treating them so well.
Lack of interest: So many parents who are ready to bring in their kids may lose interest just because of what they have heard about the school.
Bad picture: The school that was initially at its peak would turn out to be a failure in the eyes of those who have heard of what has been going on.
The best way to tackle this is to caution the teacher to be of good conduct and to make things right so that students will not be able to get afraid of him. Teachers are meant to be children's builders and future builders but not the other way around.
As a teacher, you need to be a mentor, someone who your students would look up to. Acting so weird would make your students feel so bad and run away from your subject. We all want our students to pass our subject but not fail. When they fail your subject, then you should have so many questions running through your mind. You may not be good in terms of mastery of the subject you are teaching or may have some challenges making your student see your subject as a terror. Let your students see you as a teacher and as a role model.

El profesor de matemáticas llamó a Jonathan y le dijo que se arrodillara. Golpeó con cierto número de golpes.
Tobi vio esto y se enojó. Estaba teniendo dudas sobre cambiar su escuela u odiar al maestro. Le dijo a su papá cuando llegó a casa. Su padre tuvo que llamar a la autoridad escolar sobre el asunto y, de hecho, no fue fácil para la escuela y los estudiantes, así como para el profesor de matemáticas.
Ahora bien, Tobi no solo sentía odio por el profesor de matemáticas, sino que también le inculcaba un profundo rencor. Dejó de gustarle las matemáticas sólo por culpa del profesor. El resentimiento ahora viene como
Un fuerte sentimiento de odio con mantequilla que tienes hacia alguien cuando te ofende. Este tipo de odio puede durar para siempre e incluso hasta el punto de destruir lo que has construido. Todo el mundo quiere un buen nombre y cuando tienes buenos antecedentes, nadie se resentirá contigo, pero cuando tu historial es peor, todos querrán resentirte a toda costa.
Tobi acaba de llegar como un estudiante nuevo y, sin embargo, descubrió algo de suelo en el juramento del profesor de matemáticas. Desarrolló un fuerte odio por el maestro. Uno previsto para el caso.
Puedo sacar tres cosas de esta historia relacionadas con el resentimiento.
Falta de conocimiento previo de la materia: Los estudiantes no pueden dominar la materia al máximo y tendrían problemas para conocerla
Miedo: El miedo es otra cosa mala que Tobi tendría mientras el maestro enseña. No sería capaz de agarrar lo que sea que el maestro le esté enseñando. Esto es solo porque el maestro es demasiado duro con ellos.
Ansiedad: Tobi estaba inquieto cada vez que el maestro estaba enseñando. No fue capaz de agarrar el tema a su satisfacción y no estaba en reposo mientras yo estaba en la clase. Tenía el espíritu de nerviosismo dentro de él y esto podría conducir a algo no requerido.
Rencores: Tobi estaba teniendo mucho odio por el maestro en cuestión. Él no está listo para aceptar a un maestro así que siempre los golpea con un látigo.
Frustración: Este es otro aspecto que podría hacer que los estudiantes se cansen de su profesor. Se frustrarían y no estarían listos para aprender el tema. Tobi, que estaba tan feliz de estar en la escuela por primera vez y era un estudiante brillante en el aspecto de las matemáticas, se asustó de las matemáticas. Nunca amó las matemáticas solo por la naturaleza del maestro involucrado.
Resiliencia: A veces, cuando sucede algo así, uno se siente cansado de ir a la escuela. Uno vería la escuela como si no hubiera escuela o como si no estuviera haciendo lo correcto. Tobi vio que la escuela era buena, pero con la mentalidad que tenía con el maestro, que resultó ser correcta, desarrolló un odio por el maestro y también por la escuela. Tenía miedo de ir a la escuela.
Este acto también puede afectar negativamente a la escuela. Esto puede suceder de diferentes maneras que pueden ser:
Desorganización: La escuela estaría desorganizada y todos le tendrían miedo a la escuela. Ir a la escuela sería un desastre o una pérdida de tiempo. Los alumnos no estarán en orden ya que un profesor no los está tratando tan bien.
Falta de interés: Muchos padres que están listos para traer a sus hijos pueden perder interés solo por lo que han escuchado sobre la escuela.
** Mala imagen: ** La escuela que inicialmente estaba en su apogeo resultaría ser un fracaso a los ojos de aquellos que han oído hablar de lo que ha estado sucediendo.
La mejor manera de abordar esto es advertir al maestro que tenga buena conducta y que haga las cosas bien para que los estudiantes no puedan tener miedo de él. Los maestros están destinados a ser constructores de niños y futuros constructores, pero no al revés.
Como maestro, debe ser un mentor, alguien a quien sus alumnos admiren. Actuar tan raro haría que tus alumnos se sintieran muy mal y se alejaran de tu materia. Todos queremos que nuestros alumnos aprueben nuestra materia pero no que suspendan. Cuando fallan en tu materia, entonces deberías tener muchas preguntas en tu mente. Es posible que no sea bueno en términos de dominio de la materia que está enseñando o que tenga algunos desafíos que hagan que su estudiante vea su materia como un terror. Deje que sus alumnos lo vean como un maestro y como un modelo a seguir.
