“You will pay for the Yoruba you are speaking, since it is not your language”, a lady said to me while I was in my wife's shop. For a moment, I believed that we are all prone to learn languages or let's say any kind of language we felt like learning. This same lady made me understand that people are going to school to learn Yoruba, some are going to learn Ibo and every other language as well as Hausa, and now I'm here learning it for free.
“Don't you know you are cheating us? You are speaking your language freely and now Yoruba freely as well, but we cannot speak your language just like the way you speak ours”. The lady said again, laughing jokingly.
My wife, who was just listening to our conversation, immediately responded to the lady, “You are the one who must pay if you want to understand our language”.
The lady said, “No…ooo… I'm not learning yours and so why must I pay?”
My wife, who was so smart, said, “We have paid for learning Yoruba because we travelled from Delta State to Lagos State. The money we have paid for transport is the reason we are speaking Yoruba, and so if you would like to learn my language, please travel to my area. You will learn it without stress”,
At a time, the woman kept quiet without saying a word.

I saw a man with his wife wanting to mount a motorcycle. The lady packages herself so well. Her front was wow…gigantic. She does make men go crazy, but then she is in her husband's house.
As the woman climbed the bike and sat comfortably, the man looked at her and the way the motorcyclist was enjoying her wife's front axle, he could not hold it other than to tell the wife to come down. He climbed the bike first before his wife so that he would be the one enjoying what her wife was carrying.
Now, this same guy saw his wife wearing earrings and was so pretty. She was looking so beautiful and awesome. Everyone started looking at her from the first spot to the direction she was going. Her husband observed the different looks and was feeling uncomfortable. He became furious but then could not be able to talk to those observers, instead told his wife to get back inside and remove the earrings.
Hmmm…. What a timid human being!
He loved fashion and bought a jean trousers for his wife. He asked her to always wear jean trousers as it would look good on her. The wife was happy and indeed wore the jeans. Everything in her shoot out and the back axle was just too big inside the jeans, not even talking about her hips. Her husband observed and was amazed at what he saw. They left for a walk, and immediately he saw guys looking at her wife's back axle. He became jealous and told her wife to burn the jean trousers. The wife looked at him and told him, “Oga, you are not in my mind. Allow me to wear whatever I like, or else I will leave your house for good. Will you be following me to work, or will I follow you to your working place? What kind of human being are you?” She uttered out loud.
No wonder women are looking ugly nowadays as their husbands would not want them to wear what would make them look unique and beautiful.
