I went ahead and took my new guitar to guitar center and had a very knowledgeable man fix this boi. Aaaaand I think it still sounds like shit. What do you think?
The new guitar is the first 45 seconds, the second part is recorded with the one I've been using for the past year.
Active Pick Ups vs. Passive Pick Ups
The advice I got from friendo and assholes was if I wanted to get a slightly cleaner but still distorted guitar sound, active pick ups are what I want. Maybe they're right, maybe they're wrong. But I really think I need to swap this guitar out for something else. I have a crush on this boi.
I'm going to get on the motherfucker and get this sold this week.
