How do I introduce my current self to my future self?
How do I take the 'me' I dream of
& weave her into my present 'me' so seamlessly
that I can step forward into the 'me' I really want to be?
Do you know?
How do we let the past self go?
Love x
There is a part of me that wonders how to create all the things I dream of. She thinks about why it's so hard and what it will take and why that dream life, with all its wonder and glory, hasn't arrived yet.
And then there's another part of me that already knows. This part has been studying human behaviour, human potential and the process of manifestation for more than a decade already.
This part of me is actively practising what she knows in her own life and watching funny synchronicities and wonderful mini miracles happen regularly.
She is also, slowly but surely, organising all the things she's learned about turning ideas and dreams into reality into a succinct set of teachings so that others may benefit from what she knows.
Here's what I can share with you so far:
1. We are always, all the time, every single day, turning energy into matter; ideas into form; thoughts into 3D physical things.
2. We can learn how to create better things in our life by improving our subconscious beliefs about what we think is possible, what we think we deserve and what we think is safe for us to do, have and experience.
3. To create a new and better life we have to be really clear on what we want and be willing to let go of the past.
4. We need to learn new things in the direction that we want to go: new skills, new knowledge, new examples of how to relate to others, etc.
5. We need tools that support us to gently and safely let go of the past; the things we were taught that don't serve us, the traumatic things that happened to us and our precious bodies so we don't carry them into our future, the beliefs we have about ourselves, etc.
There have been so many books, programs, courses, even movies written about the process of manifestation. Some of them are helpful (I've learned a lot from such resources over the years) but many of them are incomplete or unnecessarily complicated.
One day I expect I'll write a book about this topic, until then I'd love to know:
What stood out to you from the five points above?
Did anything I share create questions for you?
Has this post given you ideas for where you can focus your attention to create more of a life you love?
Tell me in the comments. I'd genuinely love to know.
All great comments (whether you can tell me what you're going to do with what you've learned, or you have questions for me, or you need clarification on any of it, whatever) will receive tokens and/or upvotes. Thank you for engaging on this topic I think is both fascinating and vitally important if we're going to create a better world.
The mini centred post at the very top here was my response to the ZapFicMonday prompt for this week using the word "introduce". If you like the idea of freewriting within tight boundaries that demand creativity (you'll be amazed what comes out of you when someone asks for a tiny word or character count!!) then check out this post to see what it's all about.
