Since I was shattered from the first night of Douglas the dog barking so often, Brad decided he would be the one to get up each time on the second night.

But it's so tiring to do so that at some point he decided it was easier to just sleep on the laundry floor next to the dog!

As uncomfortable as that sounds, Brad is so good at sleeping that he was still more well rested than I was when my alarm went off for parkrun.

I had the sofa bed, which is supposed to be comfortable. And I can't tell if it's just my sleep issues or if it's not as good as the brochure says.

Either way, Brad was still actively willing to play ball with Douglas.

And Douglas, who is happy enough following us around, looked like he was in heaven 馃槏馃榿馃
