As I said in the first part, I'm writing this post for those with no experience programming. Even though I'm not teaching any basic programing skills, I will try to explain in details how I progress in each step, all my thought process, to make it easy to understand. If you have no idea about programming, I suggest starting with something like this:

The most important entertainment of all of us in childhood were games. Games have helped us to develop our physical and mental skills. Games are the best simulation of the real world in which we can practice living. They even teach us how to treat friends and enemies. They're the best, most interesting and at the same time the most effective way to teach skills.

I want to use mouse events to draw the rectangle. At the beginning, let's have an understanding of the process. As I said before, we need a display object and a color to draw a rectangle. Then we must have the upper-left corner point of the rectangle and its width and height. So, when the mouse is pressed in a point, the coordinates of that point in the window can be considered as the starting point of the drawing. Mouse movement determines the size of the rectangle. As soon as the mouse is released at an endpoint, I can calculate the size and draw the rectangle. So I need all three events above. I need a flag with a default value of False to tell if I'm drawing or not. In addition, I need another variable called size.

My first time trying to code for blockchain (with help from ChatGPT and community)
People keep saying I should share my experiences so here is a quick post of me arguing with ChatGPT and getting help from the community to set up claim function for Terracore.Although the function is useful it's more of a 'hello world' for me.
So I started the journey with ChatGPT, my only experience with the AI is asking it questions, basically using it instead of Google.

In this section, we want to work a little more with rectangles and move them with the mouse and keyboard, and learn more about the Rect object.Working with rectangles
A rectangle is a very useful object in graphics programming. The Rect class in Pygame is used to work with a rectangular area. A Rect object of the Rect class can be created by having the following:4 left, top, width and height parameters
Position and size
An object that has the rect attribute

Using Quasar Framework instead of Flutter for the-Hive-Mobile.App
I have been building apps with Flutter for a while. On Hive, I have observed that, most of the developers are familiar with JavaScript & different frameworks. Not just hive, I guess, it's applicable everywhere. If it's a little different javascript library/framework e.g. Quasar Framework, VueJS, ReactJS etc., the learning curve required is very low. But If we talk about a complete different language (e.g. Dart) & framework (e.g. Flutter), the required learning curve is high compare to above.

This script is created mainly for those projects focused on promoting the adoption of the $HBD cryptocurrency, such as@hivesucre and future projects that may join this initiative, also for those accounts or users who keep track of their economy in Hive and wish to obtain detailed information on their finances. In addition, it is a good example for those users (like me) who are starting in the development of applications that interact with the Hive blockchain through its APIs and libraries.

How to add custom fonts? I like Poppins fonts from Google - https://fonts.google.com/specimen/PoppinsLet's say, just like me, you also want to use custom fonts in the Quasar Project.
Step 1. Download the fonts in woff format. If you've the font in ttf format, there are many free online font-converters. Search & convert those fonts to woff format.
Step 2. Move it inside the project as indicated below.
Please take a note that, I moved it to src/assets/fonts/Poppins directory.
You have to use that exact same path while importing it.

What if I don't want to learn JavaScript? It depends on your goal. Do you want to become a front-end developer (meaning a client-side developer) or a back-end developer (meaning a server-side developer)? You can choose one of these two items professionally.
But I must point out that even if you are interested in server-side topics, you should have at least a basic familiarity with most JavaScript topics because it is so easy to separate these things only on paper.
Some JavaScript topics, such as AJAX, are directly related to the server (sending a request to the server and not processing it). Also, a web page made only with HTML and CSS is extremely dry and inflexible.

Have you ever come across the word Syntax? This word is a very important word; Both in terms of the meaning of the word itself and in terms of its practical meaning. According to the Oxford dictionary, the general meaning of this word is as follows:the rules that state how words and phrases must be used in a computer language
(w3schools) JavaScript syntax is the set of rules, how JavaScript programs are constructed.
In other words, in human languages we have "grammar" and in programming languages we have syntax!
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these posts. We also strive to highlight the best and helpful programming and development content on Hive. We look forward to highlighting even more of you.
