OCD support is expanding!
This is our newest curation effort that aims to curate posts that are shared under programming and development niche. These post highlighted are the best and most helpful content that our curators submit for the curation.
We also encourage you to visit these blogs and engage those in the community. Engagement is what makes the community thrive, so we hope that you are taking a time to visit each other post.

Strings are one of the most widely used data structures in programming languages that we deal with in almost all projects. Strings in Python are no exception to this! In Python, there is a default data structure called str, which can be used to create English or special character strings and do interesting things with them.

This inspires me to keep creating content I can share with everyone. I am about to start another period at my University And I will be sharing some tips/guides on how to solve different problems in the signatures that are mostly related to programming and more technology stuff!!!

Hello everybody! Now the Overgrass is fully functional in the web release too, I had some problem with it not working properly in varius instances such as when the seed fall and get fully water up it would transform into the big bush even without having another seed close by and creating other perfomance issues. Following there are the varius steps of the watering process. The game is designed to let the player discover the way the plants work so it can be considered a bit spoilery the next part!

List in Python is one of the most used data type that we use in almost all our programs. If we can get enough skill in working with Python list, our programming process will be faster. We will also be able to do some extraordinary things! In this post, we will review the List data type in Python, how to work with it, important functions and practical techniques for working with lists. If you have ever written even a single line of programming, you must have been asked how to store a large amount of data in a program. Suppose we want to enter the grades of a student in our program and perform processing on them.

Using a HBD/Hive ticker history to improve a Machine Learning based auto-voter
I've been experimenting with a Machine Learning (ML) model to predict the rewards of a given post. I thought that, maybe, using the total post HBD reward I retrieved on HiveSQL was not perfect. I came to think that the real driving force was the HP and thus, I should use the Hive reward on the post, and not the HBD reward. I was thinking that the variation of the HBD/Hive would impact the real "power" a post received.

Dictionary is a popular and relatively widely used data type in Python programming language. This type of data is basically an associative list or key-value list. In this post, I'll talk comprehensively about dictionary in Python. We usually use the Python dictionary in places where we need to identify values using a key associated with each of them. These values can be anything; For example, text string, number, object, etc.

Coding Tutorial 3: Building a Real-Time Chat App with Socket.io and ReactJS : Part 2
Good day, friends, this post is a continuation of Part 1 of building our chat application. In the previous tutorial, I was able to start the backend and frontend of the chat application with Node.js and React.js, respectively. I further connected the backend to the frontend, and when a user is connected, it will print to the console, User Connected: UserID.

The element of time has various uses in the development of different programs. We may want to check when the request was sent. Or create an interruption during the execution of the program. In this post, I'll deal with working with time in Python. I use the time library in Python and work with different functions.

Coding Tutorial 4: Building a Real-Time Chat App with Socket.io and ReactJS : Final Part
Hello fellow devs. I hope you are doing good at your end. If you have been following this, we are making a simple chat application with socket.io, react JS and NodeJs. This just for fun and learning purpose. In my previous two posts, we have been trying to come out with a chat application where a user can enter his/her and room ID to start a chart with another who have also entered through the same roomID. The picture below shows the main page where users will enter their name and their RoomID.
We hope you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from these posts. We also strive to highlight the best and helpful programming and development content on Hive. We look forward to highlighting even more of you.
