Above my wife is a story painted somewhere between 3,000 and 9,000 years ago. In Somaliland, where you come from is everything - your clan defines you and determines how your story is told and who will likely hear it. Somewhere in these paintings is a message that spans all clans and confirms that our roots are just as meaningful as our outer reach above perception.
