My first encounter with this amazing all natural, gluten free organic leaf powder was about 4 years ago. i had broken my leg riding my Honda TRX450R at the Oregon dunes. i was taken to the hospital by helicopter. when i finally got home after a few days of med treatment and pain meds via I.V i was beat tired and ready for sleep. i have a rocky past which i am proud to say i have beat. In this past life i was a heroin junkie. low life bottom feeder who survived off of scraps and robbery. Having to go back on the pain pills activated something in me i had not felt in years since i got clean. It scared me to death. A friend of mine who had ample experience with kratom told me about it and how he had used it to get off opiates and was currently using it as a pain remedy. i gave my pills to my mom for the med cabinet and went to my local head shop house of pipes in Oregon City OR. They educated me more on it history and multiple uses. they told me about how kratom had been used in asian medicine for thousands of years and it true. Since then i have done weeks and weeks of research combined with personal experiences i have come to the conclusion that the only reason its not being synthesized and used in modern medicine is because it threatens pharmaceutical companies and they huge profit margins.
