Hellfire and damnation y'all, it's hot! It got up to 97 (36C) today and the heat index for tomorrow is around 110. Good thing it ain't summertime yet.
If it was a dry heat it wouldn't be so bad but it's the 'drink the air' humid sort of heat. Sweating like a whore in church and not getting a damn bit cooler kind of heat.
In other words, I'm not leaving the air conditioning without good reason. Also a good excuse to catch up on my editing. These photos are all from Thunder Over Louisville earlier this year, when it was also hot but not quite heatstroke season yet.
You'd think as well as we take care of this planet it wouldn't display such hostility towards us...
Maybe if we burn a bit more gas it'll all calm down. Alright, who said 'fill'er up?'
Somebody should probably tell Mother Nature to cool her jets. Until that happens y'all stay safe (and cool)!
