Greetings and welcome, hope this finds you jumping bail. Celebrity Billionaire Apprentice: Government Edition has officially commenced, and with where the pilot left off, you know it's going to be a doozy.

We got about nine inches of snow, which was neat. Then we got a half inch of ice and didn't lose power, which was cool. Downright warm, actually. Some more snow, an intermission, and then one final round

First street portrait of the year! Headed over to the Highlands today, was trying to get permission to post up and document the scene in a bar that used to be my old hideaway. Actually it's is the Hideaway

“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy” --Obi-Wan Kenobi DC may be a wretched hive of scum and villainy, but it's not the city's fault. Blame that abomination unto the lord commonly

It's a bit surreal to look out the window and see the latest round of snow pouring down and then look back at my screen and see LA trying to do the incinerate. Got to watch my own house burn down once,

It is cold. Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. You could say I detest the cold and you'd likely be in the running for 'Understatement of the Year'. Do make an exception for when it actually

Bob's wandered off to trouble some other folks and took the last of the snow showers with her. Left us with plenty of ice and snow though, and a snow day to boot. Got a bunch of snow yesterday, then in

Greetings from Winter Storm Bob! The newsies keep calling her Blair but if they can pull a name out of their ass, so can I. Therefore, her name is Bob. Bob has gifted us with nine inches of snow so far,

The camera gods B and H saw fit to deliver to my doorstep today an 85mm prime lens. Other than shooting the feline fecal factories I've not gotten to test it out yet but we've got a winter storm scheduled

Hell may have its rings but Louisville's got the Watterson Expressway. There, amid the crumbling concrete and potholed asphalt the city manifests its neuroses at high velocity. Grim and neglected, its

Yesterday looked like a classic late December day, dim and dreary, with a sky full of clouds and no sign of the sun. Didn't feel like a classic late December day though, with the metaphorical mercury flirting

Headed over to the Highlands this afternoon to practice with my new Holga lens some more. It'd rained all morning and was still rather overcast and grey, so it was perfectly terrible conditions to be shooting

Raise your hand if you know Holga. I didn't have much more than a vague awareness of their existence until I met my partner, who is an amazing photographer with an affinity for film. Pretty sure it was

Holidaze got you stressed? Have you considered that running off into the woods might be right for you? Not saying it'll help, but it is more difficult for your worries to find you when you're in the back

Was perusing the archives, which is a cute way of saying 'stumbling through a mishmash of folders and arcane filing systems,' and accidentally wandered off topic before I'd even got started. Nothing new

Everything is going up these days. Prices, temperatures, everyone's bloody tempers. Hell of a lot of ordnance too it seems. Thankfully not everything that goes up must be bad. There's a balloon festival

I photograph to see what the world looks like in photographs. ---Garry Winogrand Wandering the city, the only thing that's certain is that you never know what your going to find. Every time I've headed

Louisville drivers are brave, in their own special 'impervious to red lights and intolerant of speed limits' way. Live free, die young. Every machine is a smoke machine if you drive it wrong enough. "I'm

Congratulations Jethro, you're not in jail! It's once again that time of year where I look back, reflect, and celebrate. On this night 14 years ago I was drunk, homeless, and staggering down the sidewalk
