Who's up for a challenge? Yeah, me neither. That word just makes me think of buckets of ice water. Still, it has a nice ring to it. According to the Colonel's theory of mundanity the degree of mundane-ness

Yeehaw! Fuck the law! It's shitpost season y'all! With the hard fork knocking out the autovotes it's all manual votes for now, should be interesting to see who's actually out there clicking around. My

For some perverse reason, some people seem to enjoy kicking a feller when they's down. We've got at least a couple of those types on Louisville's Metro Council, they're back at the old criminalizing poverty

Had us a bit of shindig here in Old Louisville this past weekend, the St James Art Show. Hundreds of vendors, streets full of people buying art, food, and booze, it was almost like the Before Times. Old

In case of emergency, pull pin Are we having fun yet or what? The advertising salespeople news have been having a field day with all the nuclear weapons talk out of the Russians and all the hand wringing

Was originally going to call this Rocky Mountain High but I've always found John Denver to be mildly annoying and just couldn't bring myself to do that. Would rather listen to Joe Walsh anyways. Anybody

It's monarch season! Not the parasitic sort with the fancy titles, butterflies! Monarch butterflies are probably the only royalty that I can say I'm fond of. We're about half overrun with zinnias and cockscomb

The fair is in the air! Or the Ferris wheel at least. The Kentucky State Fair is in full swing right now here in Louisville and it's a happening place. So happened that they had a bit of a power outage,

We lost a great one yesterday. Activist and organizer Chris Wells was found dead in his apartment from what LMPD is calling a self inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday. Of all the activists and organizers

Shoot first, ask questions later. This works better with cameras than with firearms, or at least there are less legal complications. Sometimes you don't even need to ask questions... Just think of it as

It's that time of year again, the Kentucky State Fair kicks off tomorrow here in Louisville. From what I hear, even the weather is going to be pretty fair. The state fair is a lot of things. Petting zoo,

Is it any wonder Mother Nature has been acting out so much as of late? She's trashed! Not just a little trashed either, more like white girl wasted. Looks like Shit Creek to me, and nary a paddle in sight.
