Been meaning to do a post on music for a while now, the playlist in my head has gotten stuck in a rut and is about to wear itself out.

Had a bunch of old photos from concerts at the state fair over the years, figured I'd dig up a few of those to liven thing up. Unfortunately, they ain't worth a good goddamn so that won't be happening. Dim light and a kit lens just doesn't mix well.

Found some fun ones, they just have nothing to do with music. Fair enough. Anyways, could somebody point me in the direction of some good new music?

Recently discovered that John Frusciante has rejoined the Red Hot Chili Peppers and they have a new album coming out. His guitar work is a huge part of why I love RCHP and their music just isn't the same without him. Black Summer is out now but new album doesn't drop until April 1st so I need something to fill the gap.

Pretty sure this just goes with the photo above somehow. Careful with that axe, Eugene...

When I'm thoroughly bored of what I've been listening to I like to go looking for cover versions of song just to see if somebody has done something different with them. Sometimes I find covers that I like better than the original, with Metallica's rendition of Turn The Page being one of my favorites. Anybody else have a cover they like better than the original?

If you've ever just wanted to listen to a little heavy metal country give this a listen. Somehow James Hetfield (lead singer of Metallica) got hisself invited to a Waylon Jennings tribute concert on CMT and it went about as one would expect...

There was a pretty big sportsball game the other night and I'm pretty sure somebody won. With as excited as everybody seems to get over that you should probably listen to a song about sports.

It's getting to be time to get some shut-eye for me but if y'all happen to see any good music around, send it my way!
