Greetings to everyone at MCGI community and I hope you are all doing great and in good health. It's been a while since I joined the Bible studies session due my recent busy work schedules. I thank God for the opportunity I had to join in for the mass Indoctrination Session Day 13 and this is what we learned which I would like to share with you:

Important Points Learned From God's Word During The Bible Studies

Grevious Sin That will not be forgiven if we commit them.
According to the the Bible there are two sins, that is sin unto death or mortal sin and sin not unto death, we learned about this 1 John 5:16. A person committing a sin not unto death can be prayed for forgiveness but we are commanded not to pray for someone who is committing a sin unto death, such should be rejected according to the Bible in Titus 3:10

Sin Unto Death
It's important that we learn and know about sin that leads to death in order to avoid them or not commit one. We need to follow the way of the bible and not the way of men. A lot of people know about the word of God but do not do the will of God as Romans 1:32 says.

There are churches who tolerate evil and therefore harbor the wicked. They do not expel those doing evil and allow evil to spread in the church. God is against those who do evil but know good Romans 2:22. Some denominations accept evil people who were previously expelled by having what they call re-baptism but there is no such Baptism in the Bible

Sins Against The Holy Spirit

Blasphemy
In Mathew 13:32 we learn that speaking against the holy spirit is a kind of sin that is unpardonable by God. So what are the sins against the holy spirit. Blasphemy is speaking against the holy spirit. Speaking against the holy spirit is oratory but there are also acts of sin we commit against the holy spirit which are acts we are commanded in Acts 15:29 to abstain from. They include abstaining from anything that is offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled and from fornication.

Food Offered to Idols
We are to stay away from idols and food offered to idols. According to Psalms 115:5 idols are the work of men's hand, they are made of gold, silver and gold. Isaiah 44:13 talks about the idols as objects made through woods cut out by carpenters.

People kneel before these statues made by men to pray to them and aks for protection. Kneeling before any object is an abominable thing against the Lord, 1 Peter 4:3 says so. Praying to a creation and not a creator is an abominable thing against God.

Worshiping the stautue any biblical. personalities like Mary or the Apostles or any animal is an abominable act against the Lord. Christians are forbidden from worshipping or eating anything offered to false god. Even in the Bible John was prohibited from bowing before an angel Revelation 22:8, the angel forbade John from worshipping him knowing that he himself is also a fellow servant.

Worshipping Mary as some some denominations do is wrong. Mary is not God but she is also a worshipper as seen in Acts 1:14-15, when she joined the Apostles to pray together. Food that is offered to idols and eaten by a Christian will defile that Christian. We all don't worship the same God but different God's.

Different religions worship different gods In Psalm 2:7 we Christians believe that God's begotten son is the only true Jesus Christ. He is the begotten God. He is the same who was the word that became flesh John 1:1. The God of heaven whom we believe begats and that is where Christian God is different from other gods worshipped by different religions. For this reason we are not to share with them anything when they claim to be from God.

Abstaining From Eating blood
There are some that eat blood and this is prohited by the by the word of God according to Leviticus 17:10. God prohibits eaiting blood because is a holy thing, a sacred thing, the life of the flesh is in the blood. In past it was used blood of animals were poured on an altar to be used as an atonement for sin. It was the blood of Christ that was used to atone for our sins as Hebrews 9:22 says. Blood is still sacred today is Isreal and by Christians today and so eating an animal's blood is abomination against the Holy Spirit as we learned in Acts 15:39.

Strangled Animals
Again animals strangled to death with their blood in them is should not be eating according the Leviticus 17:14. These may be animals who died on their own or from diseases and whose blood were never poured out. We understood that they may have died with their disease still in them or in their blood. The blood should be poured out of the ground and be covered by soil.

Abstaining from Fornication
Fornication is a sin against the holy spirit and if we commit it we will be in danger against the holy spirit. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, we learned that committing fornication is a sin against the holy spirit because the holy spirit dwelling place is our bodies. This fornication is about sinning with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:16 makes us understand that he that is joined with Christ is of one body so when you sin after you have the holy spirit you sin against God's spirit. Kneeling before other gods, engaging in feast for idols is a fornication against the holy spirit.

Old Belief that were improved by listening to Bible Studies

Though all religions acknowledges God but they have their own God that they worshipped. Some claim to worship the one true God but that may not be true God that Christians worship. Through the Bible studies I learned that our God begets and it's on this ground that the God we serve is different for the God other religions serve. This made me realize how much we need not to accept just anything that other religions preaches and claim to be from God.

How the Study Can Make Us Better And How We Can Use In Our Daily Lives

Having the knowledge about the things that are sins are against the holy spirit, I believe will help us to live right and please God. We are in the last days and evil keeps multiplying each day and it's so good that we were reminded and taught about the things we need to be mindful of and not to engage in any sin
