Fear keeps us focused on the past or worried about the future. If we can acknowledge our fear, we can realize that right now we are okay. Right now, today, we are still alive, and our bodies are working marvelously. Our eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Our ears can still hear the voices of our loved ones. Thich Nhat Hanh
I heard a sad story about a man who was sentence to death by firing. Fear gripped him and he couldn't even sleep for days neither could he even eat. He had already given up all hope and was like a walking dead.
When the time came for him to die the firing squad mistakenly took rubber bullets and fired. They realised their mistake but before they could fire the right bullets the man had died already.
What actually killed this convict wasn't the rubber bullets but fear. Fear even killed him before they could fire the right bullets.
Fear is a great enemy that terminates great destinies and end great visions. Fear is a false reality, it is like a mirage, so long as you haven't accept that fear, it has no energy to affect your life.
Never focus on the past or what you are going through now for you have so many good reasons to build confidence for the future and to turn things around for your good.
Right now, today, you are still alive, and your body is working marvelously. Your eyes can still see the beautiful sky. Your ears can still hear the voices of your loved ones and above all you have got a big God up there watching over your soul so fear not.
