I had the big pleasure to travel to Hong Kong and the city didn´t disappoint. Big, loud, bustling with energy, the little markets and tiny side streets in between the giant sky skrapers made it look like a city from a science ficition movie. In it, the people moved in masses yet you were always able to find a smiling face and lovely people to talk to.
We were lucky to stay in a great little (and by little, I really mean little) Appartment for little money compared to the big hotels, perfectly situated just next to one of the night markets. Touristy, yes, but immerging into Hong Kong´s busy nightlife was special.
Hong Kong´s constantly changing weather was crazy. One minute bright sunshine, next minute buckets of water would pour out of the skies. The rain still made for some nice photo opportunities.
Hong Kong is crazy interesting. From the perfectly organised public transport system to the tiny appartment spaces, from the little temple in the middle of the city
to the sheer endless rows of skyscrapers and highrising appartment building, from the street food vendors to the great restaraunts. It just seems to have it all. Great place to visit and I will definetely be back one day.
