Is is too late to buy Bitcoin?
I get asked this question almost every day. Aside from how do I buy Bitcoin? This is the one question that keeps coming up.
Is it too late?
Nobody really knows, but you have to take a look at both sides. Let's start with the people who hate Bitcoin, and think it's worthless. That's fine, and they can have their opinion just like people who love Bitcoin. But even the people who hate Bitcoin admit one argument that contradicts their own opinion. They can all agree we are moving towards a cashless society. Hit a drive through, and 1/2 the time the guy in the car in front of you is paying with a credit card. Go to a drug store and witness a patron by a pack of gum with a debit card.
With today's price of Bitcoin hitting $3600 usd, you could lose all your investment if you bought 1 Bitcoin and it goes to -0-. In that case the hater was right, and you'll probably never hear the end of it.
Now take a look at the other side, the Bitcoin believers. There is no shortage of them, and some of them are actually smarter than us. Look at these $100,000 predictions, all over the past few months:

So, your downside is $3600, and your potential upside is $100,000. Seems like a no brainer, that no it's not too late to buy Bitcoin.
The way I recommend entering the Bitcoin market is gradually, and using the dollar cost averaging method. Buy 1/4 or 1/2 of a bitcoin, and then set up an account at an exchange like CoinBase.com, and use their auto-purchase option. Every week, or every month, the exchange will automatically buy an amount you set. It's simple to use, and easy to track. Once you get to 1 Bitcoin, stop the auto-purchase and re-evaluate your position.
