Think you gave the best advice at the time you knew how. We can all look back and tap ourselves on the head about "bad" advice we have dished out in the past. It does no good for anyone. Like you mentioned, she might have, and probably did go with her heart and took out a policy anyway.

Definitely prepared for the big dirt nap on my end. Couple policies in place that will take care of the wife. Last will and testament along with POA done. Im ready to kick the bucket :)
