The city I live in now has a area where you can lease a garden plot.
They are event having a event on saturday to talk about and have classes about planting and gardening. They are converting vacant lots into garden plots for people who live in the community. It's a new city Urban Agriculture Ordinance that is to help city living gardening enthusiasts.
I am thinking about going to check the event out saturday and find out what it entails. I think if it's not to expensive it might be a good idea to take and lease a plot.
