My father worked all his life on salary and we were not rich. I have been working from the last 10 years and still I am not rich. Because both my father and I are salaried employees and salary doesn't make us rich. The problem was always that the salary always gets spend on the expenses.

We have the expenses like Household Expenses, Wedding Expenses, Renting/Buying House, Study and what not. And all the salaries goes into that. Until and unless you start having a passive incomes which compunds while.you sleep or you invest more than 50% of your salary, it is highly unlikely that you will get rich.
I know becoming rich should not be the goal, financially free should be. But rich means different for different people. Like someone who can have luxury of time without thinking about money is rich, someone who is financially free and work for their passion is rich. Someone who just goes on vacation every now and then without thinking about the budget is rich.
So yeah definition of rich changes with people but at the end until and unless you stop living paycheck to paycheck and do something about your money as well as start from your salary, you will never be rich.
So as an employee with salary the options in front of us are limited. Like invest as much as possible and hope that the investments should.give you good returns. Create passive income stream which will work for you, Hive is one of them. Hopefully one day you will also become rich. But if you are living on paycheck to paycheck then it's very hard for you to become rich.
