A lot of people in India is discriminated, mostly because of the language you speak. In India we have officially 22 languages whereas unofficially it is up to 100 which are spoken in different parts of India.

If you go from one state to another and if your mother tongue does not match with the state's language you will be discriminated. This is happening from ages, now it's been easing up a little. Like now a days speaking english is common in big cities where people can converse in english, but in villages the state language is still needed to get what you want.
