I was looking for a Drawing teacher for my kid and was not able to find teacher nearby. Then I found one which is little far and the fees was around $10 for a month for weekend classes. The problem I found that the art skill is easily monetizable as most of the parent wants to send their child to drawing classes because most of the kids love to draw. And since there was not many art teachers, the fees of the one are are little higher.

I don't mind paying higher fees if the teacher is good and that's why I went far to get her admitted. Now the thing is if that teacher would not be good then the other option for me to go little more far and thus a lot of people opt out. So if someone is an artist they can easily start the drawing classes on the weekends and can earn handsomely. The class which my daughter is going is having around 30 students that means the guy is earning $300 in the side. His main job might be different and in the side he is earning good amount.
Now if someone can cultivate the monetizable skill, he can earn good. Some of the monetizable skills like becoming a dance teacher, one who teaches drawing, yoga teacher etc. Now someone might say that we have YouTube now and we don't need a teacher. That's true but I feel direct teaching is much more better option than the YouTube classes. For coding which is like for adult, YouTube can be good option but for kids they need right direction and that can only happen in classed.
So I feel everyone of us should have some monetizable skills which can help us earn some extra cash. You don't have to be a pro just a small skill which can help you to give knowledge to others. For example, we have a maths teacher nearby who only teaches maths for class 1 to 10 and thus he only take classes on weekends and earn good amount.
