In this present world we are in, where absolutely everything keeps changing and evolving to a world of technology, learning skills are very important so that we don't feel left out.
Handcrafts works are also not left out in the evolvement as every aspect of life and work tends to become more better with the involvement of technology when fully adopted.
For me, I've always pinned my decision on learning more about a skill I was once earning from which is data analytics. It is vivid that every day by day, things keep changing and there is necessity to update whatever knowledge we have about any skill we possess which is the reason why I deem it fit to learn more about data analytics.
However, thinking about how fast everything is coming up with content creation and video editing, with my prior experience with video editing, I think video editing for event highlights will be the skill I will be opting for right now.
Video editing is now one great skill that people actually do now and aside that it is an interesting skill, it serves as a cool source of income. Not the usual "just capture and save" coverage.
It is in the past life that video editors have to move around with big cameras to capture events, have different disc of softwares to be installed in their computer systems for editing their videos but now, technology has made things so easy that even with a smartphone, events are covered and few apps can be used in making their works successful with less stress.
I remember a time at a place I worked with, where a video editor was hired to covered the program and give us two highlights at the end of the job. Almost a million naira was paid for this job and I was amazed at how this skill could actually make one free from financial crisis if it's adequately learned and one is good at it. The good part is that a good job done will serve as a means of been referred to another clients.
Aside events, this can also connect me with business owners for their brand adverts and all which simply means that there is no limit to who and who I transact with as target audience and I can always have a stable income with this no matter how little it is.
At the end of it all, my financial freedom is finally achieved and while I achieve that, my clients too also gets their worries sorted.
