Wooah its been a while I've gone through your content and I gotta say what you just wrote is nothing but reality. Till this very day I still haven't found the reason why I always have to find x in math, I didn't understand why then and it has not helped me now especially in this messed up country of ours. I can't even remember how many times I have not regretted choosing not to take up a skill. In Nigeria today you see an individual spend years and money in school just end going into the hood to learn a skill after graduation because they were never prepared for the outside world other than writing exams..
