Videogames are more than your average AAA - Playing Mullet Madjack

And one day... I decided to take a look at some of the indie games that are on the market this year and I found what I needed, a reason to stick to the screen again to shoot a bunch of millionaire robots while we are on a simulated television show just to keep a human population entertained that ends up dead if they are not given a dose of dopamine every 10 seconds.
This is the premise of Mullet Madjack. It's weird, I know, but in the case of indies I think that's exactly what I'm looking for, games that even though they're based on the genres we all know (in this case FPS) always have the intention of adding something new to the mix.
I don't have to point out the first thing that catches the eye and makes it attractive, the style that this game has, if you have some time to see some gameplay of this game you will find that it is so handsome.
But what we gamers are after are the mechanics and as I said this is an FPS that has some roguelike touches here and there and is based on us going as fast as possible through various rooms shooting all the robots we find, our life bar will be a few seconds of time that we will fill every time we finish off a robot.
Each room is divided by doors and from a number of rooms we will complete a part of the tower, and if you are wondering about the quantity or variety of weapons that this game has, well Don't worry because we have many ways to end the cyberpunk capitalism of the millionaire robots, just in my small game I have already found many variants so we will not be long with the first weapon they give us.
This is where the roguelike part of this game also comes in since every time we finish a section they will give us some improvements, some are temporary only for that game but if we save we can grab the permanent ones that let us go a little further in simpler ways, I tell you right now that you can go quite far without any of these improvements because the game is quite well designed so that we have various options to finish off the robots.
We can shoot them with a pistol, shotgun, rifles, we can stab them or kick them towards the doors, we can burn them or throw them into the air ducts, and there are surely many more ways that I am not yet aware of, the thing is that we are going to get tired of killing robots and it is better that it is so because we only have 10 seconds of life that are recharged with each death we give, but contrary to what I would think I think that speed is not necessary but a lot of rhythm.
and aim, if we have those two we can comfortably go through the first levels, grab the upgrades at the end of each section and face the bosses that do have a slightly more conventional life system but where we will still have to face each other with shots and be in constant movement so as not to bore our viewers.
It's a very fun and direct game, fun and very well done graphic art especially for me who loves these retrofuturistic worlds, also a lot of presence and inspiration from the animes from the 80s, in each new sequence we can see related art and they even have cinematics at the beginning of each section that I would love to see in a whole anime.
It's a really good game, although like some indies it seems a bit short and has some flaws (bugs), I think it's great for the price you pay.
