Quadrant Protocol is selling eQUAD tokens during its token sale. These will later be swapped for QUAD tokens. The token sale hopes to raise enough money to develop a Protocol that will serve as a framework for the life cycle of data.

Whether to Invest

Quadrant Protocol involves many transactions between data creators, analysts, and developers. All of these transactions need the QUAD token. This is very standard token usage and should not be a stand-out reason for token appreciation.

40% of the token supply is being sold to raise $20 million and that gives the company high valuation of $50 million. The maximum bonus given was 20%, which is not too bad. The private sale was active early in the year and ETH price is much more faborable for public sale investors. This makes the bonus ignorable.

There are a number of functional positives.

  1. Masternodes: There's going to be staking. The team has not stated how many tokens are going to be needed for masternodes but staking guarantees that a large quantity of tokens will be pulled out of circulation.

  2. Gas: Quadrant Protocol will include certain functions, which have not been detailed, that will use the QUAD tokens aa gas. This gives a tested and tried value to a token as the value of even blockchain coins is derived largely for gas.

Given the presence of masternodes, Quadrant Protocol would be a good mid-term investment. As the framework's goal of replacing the current data economy could take time to realize, a long-term hold could be too speculative.
