Hi fellow LEGO Enthusiasts,
Today we got to spend some time having fun with some LEGO after a bit of a hiatus!
Some of the stuff that we've been doing has led us to not have a lot of time to spend at time. This has been definitely a good thing, as we've been out exploring a lot more but what this means is that we have less time to do other interesting things like build some cool LEGO!
This was a set that we got from a relative for our son and it was certainly one that looked pretty darn cool. One of the things that I love LEGO has been doing is this interesting 3-in-1 construction kit. It gives you ample opportunity to build what they have but in different versions. This was one of those sets! This particular set could be a crane, a boat or a car carrier with attached trailer. I was hoping for and was glad that our son chose the car carrier! It was the more complicated of the builds so I wanted to do that one. I think it looked cooler anyways.
It had a bunch of pieces and I wasn't sure how they were going to connect it all. With the set, it all worked out and was one of those LEGO sets that you are thinking "damn that was fun!" for sure. There was a lot of great attention to detail in this one.
The set came with enough pieces to not only build the truck and trailer but also let you build two race cars as well!
This thing was pretty badass of a build, I must admit. We love the car type builds. I don't know if I have disliked any of the builds that we've done but the car ones are definitely one of my favorites. It brings an element of realism to LEGO that I think is really well done.
We got to enjoy the set for a while before our son destroyed it. I was a little hesitant to let him have it, I kept another set that is on the shelf because of how complicated and fun it was to build. This one is cool too but I guess I have to let him have some of them lol
