I was looking out my office window and I had this idea that it would be neat to get a bunch of folks to just capture a quick image similarly out their own. So you all should do that! Go to the nearest window right now (assuming it's light enough where you are...problem with global networks, I guess), take a snapshot and post it with the #outsideRightNow tag -- and give us a short description.
Minnesota is one of the cooler areas in the US. But it's been super warm this fall. It just snowed yesterday for the first time, which is a little crazy. (I've only been here for 14 winters, but I've seen a foot of snow in October!) It's also chilly out, 15° F / -10° C. It's just before 0800 here in Minnesota and I'm facing roughly ESE. The sun will rise over that hillside and shine right into my eyes in the next hour, so I'll have to lower the blinds a bit.
You can see a reflection on the inside of my window showing a diagram of our ERP database. :-) The stupid semi-trailer that's parked right outside my window is "temporary" but has been there for like six months. I'm ready for it to move off, but for some reason the enterprise doesn't think my view is the most important thing ever....sigh!
